American Kidney Fund Welcomes David Frazer as Vice President of Patient Services and Kidney Disease Education

Rockville, MD (PRWEB) May 18, 2009 -- Today, the American Kidney Fund announced the appointment of David Frazer as Vice President of Patient Services and Kidney Disease Education. In this position, Frazer will oversee the American Kidney Fund's patient programs including Patient Services; Public and Professional Education; and outreach activities, specifically the Minority Intervention and Kidney Education Program (MIKE). He will be joining a strong existing leadership team in the division.

Frazer has experience in private, government and non-profit sectors. He has worked with health policy, health education and outreach initiatives, most recently at the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, where he served as Vice President of Health Strategies. In this role, he directed the Association's strategic alliances, systems change initiatives, ethnic & cultural programs, cause marketing campaigns, health wellness, prevention and disease management programs.

A former officer in the United States Air Force, Frazer earned a Bachelors of Education from Southern Illinois University and Masters of Education from North Texas University.
